  • Cyril joined Vodafone in January 2011 as head of Internet of Things (IoT) in Southern Europe and then in February 2014 transferred over to take on the role of head of Internet of Things in Northern Europe. He has a wealth of experience across the M2M/IoT space in a number of international markets. Cyril is fully responsible for driving Vodafone’s IoT growth, business strategy, products and profit and loss in key countries such as The UK, The Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, France and the Nordics.

    Since arriving at Vodafone, Cyril has helped to drive Vodafone’s position in the IoT market across Europe, achieving high sales growth and leading an expanding sales team. "I joined Vodafone as I believe it has a unique IoT capability. In the near future the IoT market will see significant growth in a number of verticals such as the smart metering, security, telematics and industrial sectors. Vodafone expects to be part of this growth across Europe," he says.

    Before joining Vodafone, Cyril spent six years at Sierra Wireless where he first headed up the automotive M2M business globally and later took control of M2M sales across western and southern Europe. Prior to this he spent three years based in Brazil as a South American sales manager at Johnson Controls Automotive Electronics.

    Cyril holds a masters’ degree from the ESCP European Business School in business administration and a masters in electrical engineering from INSA, France. As well as his native French, he is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Czech.
